Spanish MotoGP rider Joan Mir (Suzuki) announced on his Twitter account on Tuesday that he would return to the tracks this weekend at the Aragon Grand Prix, after suffering a spectacular crash during the Austrian Grand Prix which caused him an ankle injury and prevented him from racing at Misano, at the San Marino Grand Prix.

“I am very happy to be back in competition at the Aragon Grand Prix, in front of all the local fans. It won’t be an easy GP, because I’m not fully recovered, but we will fight and give 110% to be the best. possible outcome,” the 25-year-old Mallorcan driver wrote to his followers.
