The presidents of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and China, Xi Xinping, will discuss the conflict in Ukraine and tensions around Taiwan during a meeting in Uzbekistan on Thursday, the Kremlin reported Tuesday.

“China is approaching the Ukrainian crisis in a balanced way by making sure it understands the reasons that forced Russia to launch the special military operation,” Kremlin adviser Yuri Ushakov told local media.
