The Russian withdrawal from the Ukrainian region of Kharkov, bordering Donbass, opens a new phase of the war in which the Ukrainian army takes charge of military actions both in the east and in the south of the country and carries out some in Russia in possible mobilization.

“The movement of our troops continues,” said Ukrainian President Volodímir Zelenski, assuring that so far this month the army has liberated “more than 6,000 square kilometers of territory” in the east and the south of the country.
