The creation of a European Hydrogen Bank implies a commitment to interconnections that favors the positions of Spain and Portugal, the Portuguese Foreign Minister underlined today after meeting in Lisbon with his counterpart Spanish and with the Ministers of Defense of the two countries.

The war in Ukraine, energy connections in Europe, NATO and the situation in the Sahel, among other issues, were at the center of the agenda of the 2+2 meeting held today in the Portuguese capital by ministers Foreign Affairs of Portugal and Spain -João Gomes Cravinho and José Manuel Albares- and Defense -Helena Carreiras and Margarita Robles- preparation for the Spanish-Portuguese summit in October.
