A “safari” through the speculative worlds of a dystopian future designed by the Australian architect and filmmaker Liam Young inaugurated this Thursday the XVII edition of the Hay Festival Segovia, which will take place in the Castilian-Leonese city until Sunday 18 september.

The artist starred in a “performative conference” in which he showed images of what he called “the planet city”, videos that explore the productive potential that the extreme density of a single city that occupies a minimal portion of the city’s surface would have Earth and house the entire world’s population.
