Elizabeth II never had a passport in her name, but she was one of the most traveled monarchs in history. Sometimes baptized in the British press as the queen of the “million miles”, it is estimated that she traveled a distance equivalent to more than 42 times around the world.

During her seven-decade reign, she visited 116 countries as head of state, from small nations like the island of Tuvalu to Russia, China and the United States, but never officially set feet in countries like Greece, Argentina and Israel.
