The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) on Thursday condemned Poland for violating the freedom of expression of pop singer Doda, who was fined for blasphemy for his comments on the Bible.

The court explained in a statement its decision in favor of Dorota Rabczewska, known in show business as Doda, because the statements which earned her the conviction “were not hate speech” and did not incite nor to religious intolerance.
