The pope assured today that “there is a dialogue with Nicaragua” and that the Vatican has spoken with the government, asked about the situation in this Central American country and the problems that Catholics are suffering during of the press conference aboard the papal plane returning to Rome from his trip to Kazakhstan.

“In Nicaragua, the news is clear, there is a dialogue, there have been discussions with the government. There is a dialogue, but that does not mean that everything the government does is approved or disapproved,” said he added.
