Pope Francis said today that ‘killing is not humane’ and that ‘we let the beasts be killed’ when answering a question about the approval of laws that regulate euthanasia in some Western countries , during the press conference on board the plane with which he was returning to Rome from his trip to Kazakhstan.

“Killing is not humane, if you kill with motivation, in the end others will be killed. We leave the slaughter to the beasts,” he said.
