Eight people have died and four others are missing, including two children, due to a severe thunderstorm that rocked central Italy this morning, reported the Civil Protection, whose troops are working in the area to find d survivors of the devastating effects of water.

All the victims were recorded in the region of Las Marcas (center), where 400 millimeters of water were recorded in just over two hours, “which represents a third of the rains that fell throughout the year”, said the head of Italian Civil Protection, Fabrizio Curcio, who is traveling to the affected area.
