Alicante, September 20 (EFE).- The corpse in an advanced state of decomposition of a person, all pointed to an immigrant who fell overboard during a boat trip, was found floating in the vicinity of a farm fish farm two nautical miles from San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia), Maritime Rescue sources informed EFE.

The discovery of the lifeless body took place around 4:25 p.m. and was recovered by the Red Cross and the maritime rescue vessel “Leo”, based in Alicante, before being transferred to the port of San Pedro, where at that time there, the arrival of the judge on duty is expected to remove the body.

The first indications indicate that it could be an immigrant who fell into the water from a small boat en route from the African coast to the Valencian Community or the region of Murcia.

On August 27, a small boat was found about 30 nautical miles from Cabo de la Nao, in Xàbia (Alicante), with only a 21-year-old man on board, who reported that the precarious boat had capsized some time before, causing the disappearance of the boat remains of the occupants. EFE
